Jodi Ann's Music Place

______A Place for Music and fun

Yup, this is me, Dave Leonard, the hurdy-gurdy man. My shirt and breeches were made for my by my wife, Lorraine. The waistcoat and hat trim was made by my friend, Jamie Sanders. The fiddle is an old Conservatory with no makers name or origin. My hurdy-gurdy is in the background on the counter top. Not pictured are my banjos or Irish bouzouki.

Thanks for the compliment, Jodi Ann, and for featuring the pictures and one of my songs. Both my wife and I do a lot of picture taking (I did weddings and portraits in the 80'-90's). My wife, Lorraine, shot this batch. Did a fine job, I think. Alan and I had use of the Rathskeller for a couple of hours before opening. We each dressed in one of our period costumes to match the setting. Special thanks to Jo Ann, owner of Loafer's Glory, for use of the Rathskeller and all of her support of my performing over the years.

Alan and I are making a Tinker's Folly CD for planned release around June.

Thanks again,

Dave
