Hey Everyone! Now that we know that its cool for country music to be pop/rock, where does it leave traditional country? Will it be labeled as Americana or Folk music now? What are your thoughts?

i think your going to see more divisions in the country music field! instead of just todays country, alt country, classic, and traditiona! and i see older country artists moving to a new classificationl

I feel that two things are gonna happen here, the artists that are hard to classify are going to be more likely to cross over into hotter country music, and the more classic country singers, or bluegrass players with just be defined as "classic" country artists.
